„Platesetter-2“ for simple and secure printing plate mounting

Based on the very successful predecessor Platesetter-1, a new generation of plate-setting devices, the Platesetter-2, has been added to the product assortment of Kocher & Beck.

Like its predecessor model, the new device has a purely mechanical design and so is independent of any energy sources. For that reason, the device is mobile and can be used everywhere needed on the printing press. Compared to other manufacturers’ complicated machines with camera systems, this device is easy to handle, and there are markedly fewer operating errors. And, of course, the price is attractive.

The adjustable attached arms now hold pressure cylinders of the most varied manufacturers. That means, even if you have different printing press types, you can operate them with just one platesetting device.

An additional advantage with the new device: Thanks to the support table that can be swivelled up, the cylinder can be inserted or removed without moving the cylinder holder up or down each time. As a result, the cylinder blank to be used only needs to be set once.
