For example, in order for the GapMaster system to be integrated in some machines, the existing units have either to be converted or completely rebuilt.
This is where our experience as a manufacturer of cutting tools gives us the edge. The new cutting stations built entirely by Kocher + Beck are strong, flexible and tailor-made for the particular application. For various label-printing machines, we can supply cutting units ex stock.

Our efficient Design Department, employs highly qualified design engineers, who discuss in detail, the requirements of the customer, either directly or through one of Kocher + Beck `s technical sales people. The information received is fed into a modern CAD system, and the final design for the special application is sent
to the production unit for manufacture and assembly. |

Gear wheels |

| Interchangeable gear wheels for flat bed stations, gear wheels for printing cylinders, magnetic cylinders and silk screen end rings, and for overall printing machine construction, are made from high-strength tooling steel. Using high-precision CNC lathes and engraved with customer data, Gear wheels can be supplied in all common modules and tooth depths, as straight-toothed gears or as gears with helical teeth. Induction-hardened and precision-ground and polished gears to minimise gear marking in print, are an optional extra. |
