Ideal for long-run jobs, or for jobs that repeatedly come back to the press. Abrasive materials will kill a normal die in no time at all, this where the 3L flexible die gives outstanding performance, and reduces your tooling costs.
Controllable hardening processes and a blended transition of the hardened zone to the basic material ensure that the flexibility of the die is not lost.
The Kocher + Beck, 3L flexible die makes other “pseudo” hardened dies, and the good old solid rotary tool look somewhat outdated when it comes to durability and value for money!

Manufactured from hardened spring steel, that is chemically etched, CNC-sharpened and superbly finished with smooth polished cutting edges. Various cutting angles, from 30° to 110° can be applied, to specifically match the requirements of the material. Profile heights from 0.30 mm to 1.5 mm are available, allowing kiss cutting or cutting down to the anvil (steel to steel). Suitable for converting all types of single and multi-layered materials, thin card, self-adhesive paper and synthetics.
